Role

Led XR design as part of a cross-functional team, collaborating with WHOI scientists and internal creatives to conceptualise, design, and implement immersive experiences. Built using Unity and Vuforia, with real-time code and animation workflows.

Twilight Zone — Ocean Zones — Ocean Zones Ocean zones categorise the sea into layers: Epipelagic Zone (Sunlight Zone), Mesopelagic Zone (Twilight Zone), Bathypelagic Zone (Midnight Zone), Abyssopelagic Zone, Hadalpelagic Zone (Trenches).

Twilight Zone — Vertical Migration — Vertical Migration The twilight zone hosts Earth’s largest daily animal migration, moving up at night and down by day.

Twilight Zone — Mesobot Goes Underwater — Mesobot Goes Underwater The Mesobot is WHOI’s untethered deep-sea robot designed to explore the twilight zone.

Twilight Zone — Marine Snow — Marine Snow Marine snow carries carbon to the deep ocean, fueling the biological pump and helping regulate climate.

Twilight Zone — Pteropod — Pteropod Part of the ‘Treasures of the Twilight Zone with the Mesobot’ interactive journey through the gallery space. The Ocean’s Butterflies as observed by the MESOBOT (WHOI’s untethered deep-sea robot).
